Monitors

Why do we need a monitor in video surveillance systems?

A video surveillance system involves the presence of several components, including a DVR or NVR, analog or IP surveillance cameras, power supply, connectors, hard disk, and a monitor. This is useful for  surveillance systems that need continuous monitoring. Surveillance cameras are connected to the recorder, and their image is displayed on the monitor. Depending on the DVR or NVR menu, the monitor screen will be divided into 4/8/9/16/24 frames for viewing the cameras. It is recommended that the monitor resolution be at least as good as that of the cameras and the recorder in order to benefit from maximum image quality.
